ZAB ELI - Authentic Thai Restaurant

Client is a restaurant specialize in Isan cuisine.

"Zab Eli" (or "Zaab Eli") in the Isan language, which is spoken in the northeastern region of Thailand, translates to "very delicious" or "tasty." Isan is a group of Lao dialects, and the phrase reflects the culinary culture of the region, which is known for its distinct and flavorful dishes. "Zab" or "Zaab" means "delicious," and "Eli" is an intensifier, similar to saying "very" or "extremely" in English. So, "Zab Eli" is an expression of high praise for the taste of food.
The logo was greatly inspired by traditional Thai paintings, which often found in temples (wats), these paintings depict scenes from the life of Buddha, stories from the Jataka tales (stories of Buddha's previous lives), and other religious or mythological narratives.

In Thai folklore, fairies are commonly referred to as "นางฟ้า" (Nang Fa), which directly translates to "angel" or "fairy." These beings are often depicted as beautiful, ethereal women with a gentle and benevolent nature. They are a part of many Thai myths and legends, often associated with nature, forests, water, and spiritual realms. The concept of Nang Fa in Thai culture is quite similar to the Western notion of fairies, with a focus on their supernatural and mystical qualities.
